Dr. James Cole is a highly accomplished physiatrist specializing in rehabilitative medicine within Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where he excelled academically and was actively involved in research and community service. Dr. Cole furthered his training with an Internal Medicine internship at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University Consortium, followed by a rigorous residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the same institution, where he served as Chief Resident and Director of Quality Improvement.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cole has contributed significantly to the field of physiatry through his research and publications. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as The Journal of Immunology, and he has presented his findings at national conferences, including the Association of Academic Physiatrists.
In addition to his clinical and research achievements, Dr. Cole is dedicated to community service and mentorship. He has volunteered with organizations such as MedZou and Big Brothers Big Sisters, demonstrating his commitment to improving community health and well-being.
As Chief Medical Officer for American Physiatry, Dr. Cole oversees clinical operations and program development. Dr. Cole continues to champion excellence in rehabilitative care, integrating evidence-based practices with compassionate patient management. Abe Moser joined American Physiatry as Vice President of Sales, where he leads the company’s growth and expansion efforts in providing specialized physiatry services to skilled nursing facilities. With a wealth of experience in sales leadership, Abe brings a unique blend of healthcare industry knowledge, strategic vision, and a proven track record of success in driving business growth.
Abe has forged long-lasting partnerships with a wide range of healthcare groups across the country, with an emphasis on cultivating long-term relationships. Prior to joining American Physiatry, he served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Tapestry Health, where he led the expansion of the enterprise team on the East Coast and was instrumental in securing large, strategic accounts across the region. He has also held senior leadership positions in the healthcare tech sector, driving significant growth at Global Tech to support a vast network of healthcare facilities. Abe’s expertise in building client relationships and implementing customer success programs has enabled him to achieve impressive growth milestones in competitive markets.
In his free time, Abe is an active volunteer at the local EMS corp, where he has gained firsthand insight into the avoidable hospital transfers that skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients often face. This experience has strengthened his commitment to improving care and outcomes for patients in long-term care settings.
